About
b20 ventures is an early stage venture capital firm that invests in the most promising, most disruptive startups emerging from the world’s best universities and business schools, including Stanford, MIT, UPenn / Wharton, Berkeley, NYU, Texas, and Harvard.
We invest in pre-seed, seed, and series A investments across industries and geographies.
By choosing the name b20 ventures, we pay homage to one of the world’s earliest and most significant incubators of innovation and creativity—MIT's Building 20.
This legendary structure at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was renowned for its unique environment that fostered groundbreaking research and collaboration across various disciplines, resulting in fundamental advances in radar, physical electronics, electromagnetic properties of matter, microwave physics, and microwave communication principles. For these reasons, Building 20 was called one of America's "two prominent shrines of the triumph of science during [World War II]" (with the other being Los Alamos).
